About Legacy Landscape Design
Crafting outdoor legacies in Atlanta for Over 30 Years
our story
Why “Legacy”?
Legacy Landscape Design was built on a vision: to elevate outdoor living through enduring beauty and thoughtful design. From humble beginnings to a trusted name in luxury landscaping, our journey is all about the moments we’ve created with our clients—spaces they love, use, and pass on.
“Legacy” isn’t just our name. It’s our philosophy: every project is an investment in your home, your enjoyment, and your future.

ASLA, Georgia Certified Nurseryman
A native Atlantan from the historic Druid Hills neighborhood, Mark was inspired early by graceful streets and mature landscapes. He earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from UGA, and later became a Georgia Certified Nurseryman. Today, he oversees every design and decision at Legacy, ensuring that each plan we create balances form, function, and life.
Under his leadership, Legacy Landscape Design has been featured in HGTV, Southern Living Magazine, and the Southeastern Flower Show. Our record remains spotless, and our client relationships are at the heart of what we do.
Our Philosophy & approach
We don’t just build landscapes. We compose environments. What are we about? We operate at the intersection of architecture, ecology, and human experience. We prioritize:
Listening first
We begin by understanding your vision, your rhythms, and your dreams.
Design with intention
Using both traditional plans and 3D visualization, we craft spaces that feel right, function beautifully, and endure elegantly.
Artistic installation
With precision and care, we translate design into reality—every stone, plant, light, and feature placed with purpose.
This signature Listen → Design → Install process is the backbone of how we create your Legacy.
